Tribute
The tears have dried but the heartache remains. Our wonderful father Thomas Harry Richardson passed away on August 31, 2020 after a long and brave battle with cancer.
Tom leaves behind his daughters Teri Cox (Jim), Vicky Holmes (Chris) and Sandra Sekel (Rod) to grieve his passing. His loss will leave a huge hole in the lives of his grandchildren and great grandchildren; both from his daughters and sons and daughter from his family he shared with his second wife Lenora.
Tom’s daughters wish to thank Lorna Jackson who loved and cared for him for many years after she danced into his heart. They would also like to thank all the care and medical professionals that mde his battle easier at the Kimbrook Manor and the East Kootenay Regional Hospital.
Tom was predeceased by his beloved Elvina, sweet Lenora, adored mother Betty, his “brother” Warren and grandsons Jim and Jessie.
The immediate family will celebrate Tom’s life with a private family gathering and interment. If you wish to send condolences, please do so to www.markmemorial.com. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the East Kootenay Regional Hospital.

Barb & I are so sorry to hear of Tom’s passing. I have known Tom for many years as we both grew up in Lower Blarchmont back in the fifties. We had our last chat with Tom in Oncology. Always liked our conversations about the old days. Our condolences go to Tom’s family.

Good bye to a dear old friend from high school days and throughout our lives. We will miss the old philosopher’ his many stories, his great humor, his kindness, love for people and undying friendship. You could always count on Tom. We think back with a smile on our faces as we remember the card games, the political discussions, the Dynamiters and the free flowing advice among the good old boys of the day. The old town won’t be the same. Such wonderful memories of a true dear friend who will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. Condolences to the family who meant so much to him.
