Calvin Michael Slobodian

On March 4, 1954 a quiet soul entered the world in Kimberley, BC. Calvin Michael Slobodian was the first of three brothers for Sister Gayle. Calvin was raised in Chapman Camp, went on to become a journeyman Electrician and finally transferring his skills to alarm/security installations. On June 3rd, 2024 this quiet man left this earth at the E.K. Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, BC.
We look forward to the day when we again can hear you say “Oh hey there!” on the other side. Always loved and in our hearts until we meet in “Another Moment of Time”.
Calvin was preceded in death by his brother Brent, Father (Michael) and Mother (Isabel). Calvin will be dearly missed by his Sister Gayle, Brother Daryl (Samantha), several Nieces and Nephews, Derek (Kerri), Christopher, Jade, Heather, Adam, Cyndi (Rob) and Alexander. Old friends like Mark and Khamh (Calgary) and dear friend Arlene.
Special thanks to all the Doctors and Nurses that provided care for Calvin in Kimberley, Cranbrook and Kelowna. A special thank you to Gayle and Arlene for all they did for Calvin in the last year. A small family service will be held at the Kimberley Cemetery on Friday, June 21st, 2024 where he will be laid to rest in a family plot to join Mom and Dad. In lieu of flowers or gifts, please make a donation in Calvin’s name to the BC Cancer Society or a local animal care shelter.
