Tribute
Darrel passed away peacefully in Kimberley on Friday, October 25, 2024 at the age of 80 years.
Darrel leaves to mourn his passing, his brother Fred, his sister Janis (Bill); nieces Lisa (Jim), Kristina (Zoltan), great nieces Madeline and great nephews Joshua, Jordan and Matthew. He was predeceased by his parents Charlotte and Fred Varley.
Darrel was born and raised In Kimberley where he greatly enjoyed the outdoors; skiing, hunting and fishing.
Darrel found employment with Cominco at the fertilizer plant and retired his career at the mine in 2001.
We thank the Home Care nurses and doctors who guided Darrel through his failing health.
A Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends at a later date.
