Sheila Del Vinge (Parsons)
October 11, 1939 - April 13, 2022
Tribute
It is with great sadness that the family of Sheila Vinge, born on October 11, 1939, announces her passing on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. Sheila is survived by her husband Joel, daughter Karin and a host of loving cousins, nephews and nieces and good friends.
Sheila was happily married for 58 years to Joel and they raised two wonderful daughters Karin and Karla (Karla sadly predeceased her mother in 2015). Sheila had a busy life full of happiness, love and laughter. Throughout her life her main focus was the love and care for her family and she was also actively involved in her community, always as a good neighbour. Several years ago her life was impacted with a cruel dementia which robbed her of much of her joy and her purpose in life. Her spirit always remained gentle and loving. She is now at peace, but is enormously missed by Joel & Karin and all who knew her. We love you and will always miss you Sheila dear!
A Worship Service embracing family and friends will be held at Christ Church Anglican on May 6, 2022 at 1:00 pm with The Reverend Kevin Arndt officiating, assisted by The Reverend Yme Woensdregt. Please consider donating to the BC SPCA to honor Sheila’s memory and her love of animals.
