Craig Alan Lockhart
April 20, 1966 - December 15, 2014
Tribute
Lockhart, Craig Alan, passed away suddenly and peacefully in his home on December 15, 2014 after a courageous battle with heart disease. He was born on April 20, 1966 in Kimberley, BC. His greatest achievement was graduating from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy in 2005. Craig would later become the Pharmacy Manager at Extra Foods in Fort McLeod. Prior to becoming a Pharmacist, Craig was proud to follow in his father's footsteps and spent a number of years driving the family logging truck.
Though Craig led a very quiet and private life, he always had time to share stories and reminisce with his loved ones and anyone who shared an interest in one of his passions. Craig spent many hours in the gym, continuously challenging himself and those around him. He was a kind, gentle, and loving man that would often go out of his way to help those in need.
He was a devoted son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be greatly missed by his siblings, Bonnie (Allan) Hudock, Rick Lockhart, Christine (Destin) Klepaychuk, as well as his nephews; Kyle, Cole, Ryan, Dylan, Nathan, Joshua and Joel and friend Alan LaFayette. He will also be missed by his aunts; Beverley Thygensen, Karen Stills, Tina Blackburn along with their respective families. Craig was loved and will be missed by many of his patients at his pharmacy. He was predeceased by his parents Alan and Rosemary Lockhart.
A private family graveside service will be held. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation in Craig's name.

Sorry to hear the sad news. Craig was a good friend through high school, college, and university. A gentle guy with a great sense of humour, he never shied away from hard work and was always willing to lend a hand. And bright. I don’t think I would have survived first-year Calculus without his help!
I miss the thought that we might reconnect down the road, as old men recounting some our many tales of glory during the the decade that defined our youth — the 1980s.
My sincere condolences to Bonnie, Rick, Christine. I’ll always remember the lunches I shared with your family — the laughter, the chaos, and the love that defined the Lockhart family table.
So long Craig; you were a dear friend.

I am so sad to hear of Craig’s passing. We spent many hours talking and sharing laughs while riding in the logging truck going to work early in the morning,I was the loader operator.I pestered him constantly about going back to school and that he was way too smart to be driving a logging truck, most times he would give me his little boy smile and laugh but he finally did it and I was so proud of him.You are missed my friend.
