Dear Jan, girls, and especially my favorite, Jane. So saddened by Daves’ passing. When arriving in Kimberley in ’84, he was one of the first people I met. His mentorship and support through the Lodge was inspirational. I still treasure and wear with pride the special pin I received from Dave and Jan in my path through the Lodge. Remember well his tie mill, and all the slab lumber he gave me for a wood shed! A true hard worker, proud father, I was humbled to be his friend. Rest well dear friend.
