Edwin (Ed) James Mufford, age 88 passed suddenly on Monday, April 3, 2017 at the Kimberley Special Care Home where he had been a resident for the last 2 ½ half years.
Born on June 30, 1928 in Vulcan, Michigan, Ed moved to Kimberley I n 1930 with his parents, Albert and Alice and his two siblings Ada and George.
Ed was an easygoing, happy man who was a proud family man and loved all his family equally. He was an outdoor enthusiast, an avid hunter and fisherman and took up golf after retirement. He often could be found at the golf course with his fellow Lions members. He was a lifetime Lions member and previous president of the Marysville Lions Club. This was a position he took very seriously and was proud to hold.
Ed is survived by his loving wife Olive; three children Keith, Lorraine and Karyl as well as eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents and his siblings, Ada and George.
Ed will be cremated and at his request, there will be no funeral service.
